In his jealousy toward Natsume, Yuuichi gets into a quarrel with Rika on the hospital rooftop. She throws a book at him, and it lands atop one of the eaves. The book was a precious memento left by Rika's father.

Having lost his chance to reconcile with Rika, Yuuichi passes the time at Tsukasa's house, but then it starts to rain. Determined to recover Rika's book, Yuuichi runs back to the hospital and climbs over the rooftop railing...
